Mechanics are okay (so-far nothing super punishing, but I've only been through the first world). It also has some QTE-styled boss fights, which at least look kinda cool/silly, though are very simple (and the mini-boss fight is literally the same level every time, and that's not good). It's basically just a game to play a level or two at a time, basically just like a mobile game.I rate it Okay out of a possible 100, I wouldn't pay full price for it, but not the worst game to be in a bundle (unless you find blaxploitation movies offensive, in which, you won't like this game at all, just watch the trailer.). Caught this on sale for like 2 bucks, watched the trailer and picked it up. If youre too stupid to watch the traile "Funk of Titans" is a "runner" type game with an absurd Funk themed version of ancient Greece. I had fun with it, and likely would have had just as much ful at the regular price. controls were smooth, controller support was good, and generally just fun and easy to pick up like a good casual game should be with a decent amount of rather silly unlockables. Totally worth my money.. Instead of being original, the producers wanted to rip off Mario and make it racially absurd. This is playing on the stereotypes of black people, while having gameplay that isn't up to par with even Mario. Waste of money.. I've played free phone auto runners that felt more fluid and fun than this piece of garbage.Play bit trip runner instead if you're looking for an auto runner.
